Day 1 Accomplished

I ended up getting a lot less done that I had imagined.

My first mistake was that didn't take into account the crazy number of phones calls, texts, emails, facebook requests, etc. that I would get in one day.  My now former coworkers were really upset to hear that I had been fired.

My second mistake was to underestimate how emotionally draining it was for me to go pick up my personal belongings at my old work.  I thought I would hand over my computer, and grab my box.  I ended up having to be there an hour, while my things were cataloged,  in the visitor's parking lot.

Here is what I accomplished:

30 minutes vigorous exercise - HIIT

Solved mortgage crisis - My husband's income will qualify us instead of mine

Dollar Tree - still the best place for cheap toothbrushes

Improv show - For a friend

Recruiter - She will keep an eye out for jobs

Not too bad, but I do need to aim for more!

One last thing I need to watch out for... SPENDING.  Obviously, my income at this point is zero.  Yikes!  Going from, "just buy it, you make good money," to, "you make zero cash monies," is going to be tough.  The first few days will be easy.  The question is how long can I keep low spending up.

Money Spent
$16 - gas
$14 - Dollar Tree shopping trip
$10 Improv show - an investment in a relationship
Total: $40

A lot of room for improvement here!
